A quality-focused, independent pub restaurant near Maidenhead is seeking a Sous Chef to join its talented kitchen team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef who is passionate about fresh, seasonal food, including fish, game, and British produce, and who wants to work in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.

About the Role:

  • Support the Head Chef in the daily running of a busy fresh food kitchen.

  • Work with seasonal produce, game, and fresh fish, delivering consistent quality and presentation.

  • Contribute to menu development and daily specials, bringing creativity and skill.

  • Help lead and train a small, passionate team, maintaining a calm, organised kitchen environment.

  • Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety, and organisation.

What We’re Looking For:

  • An experienced Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous looking to step up.

  • Confident working with fresh fish, game, and seasonal produce.

  • A calm, organised chef who leads by example.

  • A real passion for delivering quality fresh food consistently.

  • Someone ready to be part of a close-knit team in a respected, independent venue.
