A quality-focused, independent pub restaurant near Maidenhead is seeking a Sous Chef to join its talented kitchen team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef who is passionate about fresh, seasonal food, including fish, game, and British produce, and who wants to work in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.
About the Role:

Support the Head Chef in the daily running of a busy fresh food kitchen.

Work with seasonal produce, game, and fresh fish, delivering consistent quality and presentation.

Contribute to menu development and daily specials, bringing creativity and skill.

Help lead and train a small, passionate team, maintaining a calm, organised kitchen environment.

Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety, and organisation.
What We’re Looking For:

An experienced Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous looking to step up.

Confident working with fresh fish, game, and seasonal produce.

A calm, organised chef who leads by example.
