Junior Baker – Daytime Hours – Fresh, Seasonal Baking
Location: Newbury Area
Salary: Up to £28,000
Hours: 45 hours per week, typically 5am-2pm
A growing, ingredient-led venue in the countryside is looking for a Junior Baker to join its small, quality-focused bakery team. Working closely with the Head Baker, you will help produce a range of fresh bread and pastries daily for the site and its events.
The Role:

Support the Head Baker in the preparation of all breads, viennoiserie, and pastries.

Ensure consistency and quality across all bakery products, using fresh, seasonal ingredients.

Assist in the smooth running of daily production for service and pre-orders.

Maintain high standards of hygiene and organisation in the bakery.
What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in a bakery or pastry environment.

A genuine interest in traditional methods and working with high-quality, seasonal ingredients.

Comfortable with early starts and maintaining focus through a morning production shift.

A team player with a positive attitude and attention to detail.
