Salary: Up to £60,000

We are recruiting an exceptional Head Sommelier for a prestigious, quality-driven hospitality group operating at the top end of the premium dining market.

This is a standout opportunity for a passionate wine professional to take ownership of an ambitious and evolving wine programme, working within a refined service environment and alongside a talented senior management team.

The successful candidate will be confident managing an extensive wine list, driving sales, delivering exceptional guest interaction, and mentoring a sommelier team to the highest standards.

The Role:

• Lead the wine programme across a premium, high-end operation

• Curate and develop an exciting, diverse and commercially strong wine list

• Deliver exceptional wine service and guest experience

• Manage wine stock, ordering, suppliers and cellar organisation

• Drive wine sales through upselling, pairing and team training

• Lead and develop the sommelier team and front of house wine knowledge

• Work closely with senior leadership on wine strategy and brand direction

The Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience as a Head Sommelier or Senior Sommelier in a premium restaurant

• Strong wine knowledge with confidence in pairings and guest engagement

• Commercially aware with strong understanding of GP and wine profitability

• Excellent communication skills and calm leadership style

• Passionate about delivering top-tier hospitality and service standards

• WSET Level 3 preferred (Level 4 an advantage but not essential)
