We are recruiting an experienced and driven Head Chef for a busy, well-established restaurant in St Albans.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong kitchen leader to join a high-volume, fresh food operation with a great reputation and an exciting, flavour-led menu. The successful candidate will be hands-on, organised, and confident leading a brigade while maintaining high standards and consistency.

The Role:

• Lead the kitchen team and oversee daily operations

• Deliver consistently high-quality food in a fast-paced environment

• Maintain excellent standards of hygiene, health & safety and compliance

• Manage stock control, ordering, wastage and GP

• Train, develop and motivate the kitchen team

• Work closely with senior management to drive performance and standards

The Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or strong Senior Sous ready to step up

• Background in high-volume, fresh food restaurants

• Strong leadership and team development skills

• Calm under pressure with excellent organisation

• Passionate about delivering great food and consistency

• Strong kitchen financial understanding (GP, labour, stock)
