Location: Central London (near King’s Cross & Euston)
An iconic London pub is on the lookout for a passionate and talented Head Chef to lead its thriving kitchen team. Set in a striking, characterful building, this venue blends history and modern hospitality with multiple private dining spaces, a hidden cocktail bar, and a loyal following of locals, professionals, and food lovers.
This is a hands-on leadership role in a busy, quality-driven kitchen that celebrates British seasonal produce and scratch-cooked menus. The ideal candidate will be full of ideas, great with people, and passionate about delivering consistently high standards across a fresh, all-day menu.
The Role:

Lead and inspire a close-knit kitchen team in a fast-paced environment

Oversee all areas of kitchen operations – from prep and service to stock and GP management

Collaborate on menus that reflect the seasons and the venue’s premium British identity

Maintain top-level food hygiene, safety, and compliance standards

Recruit, train, and nurture a strong brigade to drive consistency and creativity
What They’re Looking For:

A Head Chef (or strong Sous ready to step up) from a fresh food, high-volume background

Proven leadership in a pub, restaurant, or gastro-style venue

Strong organisational and financial skills – confident with GP, rotas, and kitchen controls

A calm head and team-first mindset – especially during busy service

Genuine love for great food, proper cooking, and inspiring others
