Executive Chef – Work-Life Balance
Circa £55,000 + Mileage Expenses
A well-known pub group is seeking an Executive Chef to oversee food development and BOH procedures across multiple sites in the Reading area and surrounding region. This is an ideal opportunity for a senior chef looking for work-life balance with predominantly daytime hours while working within a respected hospitality group.
About the Role:

Oversee food development and kitchen standards across multiple sites.

Implement and refine BOH systems and procedures to drive consistency and quality.

Work closely with site teams to maintain high standards while supporting menu evolution.

Travel to various sites within the region (mileage expenses provided).

Play a key role in maintaining the company’s food reputation while supporting growth and innovation.
About You:

Experienced senior chef with multi-site exposure or a head chef ready to step up into an Exec Chef role.

Skilled in food development and BOH systems implementation.

Highly organised, with a calm, structured approach.

Able to coach and inspire kitchen teams to deliver consistent quality.

Must hold a valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle for site travel.
