We are recruiting a passionate and experienced Bakery Manager for a well-established, high-volume bakery operation in Wells, Somerset.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong people manager with a hands-on approach, who can lead a team, maintain excellent product standards, and drive performance in a busy retail bakery environment.

The Role:

• Oversee the day-to-day running of a busy bakery operation

• Lead, train and motivate the team to deliver excellent service and quality

• Ensure consistent standards across baking, presentation and customer experience

• Manage rotas, staffing and team development

• Control stock, ordering, waste and compliance

• Drive sales through strong leadership and operational focus

The Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience as a Bakery Manager, Assistant Manager or Supervisor

• Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, proactive attitude

• Experience in a high-volume bakery, café, food retail or quick service environment

• Organised, reliable and able to work under pressure

• Passionate about fresh food, quality products and customer service
