A premium, quality-focused pub near Paddington is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the delivery of exceptional guest experiences in a busy, vibrant setting.

With a focus on locally sourced produce, fresh seasonal menus, and a high-standard drinks offering, this venue requires a confident AGM who can lead from the front, motivate the team, and uphold the brand’s premium service values.

The Role:

• Supporting the General Manager with day-to-day operations and team management

• Leading service with warmth and professionalism, maintaining premium standards

• Assisting with recruitment, training, and developing a high-performing team

• Overseeing floor operations during busy services while maintaining attention to detail

• Driving sales, monitoring KPIs, and ensuring efficient cost control

• Maintaining compliance and upholding health, safety, and licensing standards

What They’re Looking For:

• Experience as an AGM or a strong Supervisor/Manager in a premium pub or restaurant

• A genuine passion for hospitality and locally sourced, quality food

• A hands-on leader who can inspire and energise the team

• A keen eye for detail with the ability to manage a high-volume, quality-driven environment

• Strong organisational and people management skills
