We are recruiting an experienced and passionate Head Chef for a well-established, food-led pub operation located near Reading.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Head Chef who thrives in a fresh food environment, enjoys leading a kitchen team, and is passionate about delivering consistently high standards.

The venue offers a strong reputation, loyal customer base and a quality menu focused on well-executed pub classics and seasonal dishes.

The Role:

• Lead the kitchen team and oversee day-to-day operations

• Deliver high-quality, fresh food consistently

• Manage GP, stock control, ordering and wastage

• Maintain excellent hygiene, compliance and kitchen standards

• Train, develop and motivate the brigade

• Work closely with senior management to drive standards and performance

The Ideal Candidate:

• Proven Head Chef experience within a fresh food pub or restaurant

• Strong leadership and organisational skills

• Ability to manage a busy service while maintaining quality

• A calm, professional approach with a passion for food

• Strong understanding of kitchen controls and profitability
