We’re looking for an experienced and driven General Manager to take the lead at a much-loved local pub in Leytonstone. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established venue with a loyal customer base and big potential for growth.

About the Pub
The venue is a vibrant community hub known for its great beer garden, lively atmosphere, and strong drinks trade. With net sales of around £50k per week, the business is thriving – but there’s huge scope to grow the food side and fully maximise the upcoming wedding and events facilities. From November, they’ll also have 8-10 guest rooms ready to welcome overnight visitors, adding another exciting revenue stream.

Your Role
* Lead and inspire the team to deliver exceptional service and memorable guest experiences
* Drive food sales and develop the dining offer to complement our strong drinks trade
* Promote and manage weddings, events, and functions to make the most of our facilities
* Oversee the launch and management of guest accommodation from November
* Maintain and grow our reputation as a welcoming community pub
* Ensure smooth day-to-day operations, cost control, and profitability

What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience as a General Manager in a high-volume pub, bar, or restaurant
* A track record in growing food sales and developing events business
* Commercial awareness and strong organisational skills
* Passion for hospitality and a genuine connection to the local community
* Hands-on leadership style with excellent people management skills
