Appetite4Recruitment Ltd was founded late in 2003 by Managing Director, Nick Clover with a vision to increase standards within the hospitality side of the recruitment industry in order to encourage new talent and nurture existing skills.
Having worked his way up through the ranks to Restaurant Management and Chef in both a fast paced Restaurant Chain and a well recognised Hotel Company over a 15 year period; BSc Hons. graduate, Nick has consistently developed his skill sets, successfully achieving MREC CertRP status having studied through the REC. As expected, Nick constantly strives to bring the highest standards to the Recruitment Industry with a little help from his team! Nick is a joint owner of a popular, standard driven pub restaurant in the Surrey Area (http://www.the-cricketers-at-farncombe.co.uk/) and while making decisions on the direction of the successful establishment, Nick massively enjoys keeping his hand in the industry by running shifts and being heavily involved in staff training.
Jemma Springle Recruitment Consultant & Account Manager
Having studied hospitality management and excelled as a Restaurant Manager (successfully managing volume based Restaurant Businesses), Jemma is a very driven and highly motivated individual who, in her previous role as a General Restaurant Manager, showed a real passion for excellence which was demonstrated throughout her business and her teams alike. Jemma understands the importance of progression with in business and in people, and has a real eye for talent. After a previous taster in commercial recruitment Jemma joined the team at the start of 2009, recruiting in the area that she knows and loves the most!
Charlotte Weston Account Manager
A key member and support to the team. Charlotte initially developed her skills in the industry as both a resourcer and company administrator. Aspiring to continue her career by becoming an established Recruitment Consultant within the Appetite team, Charlotte is a strong Account Manager, looking after a couple of Appetite’s prestigious national accounts. Enjoying the finer things in life, Charlotte’s skills are an obvious benefit.
Mark Tomlinson Recruitment Consultant
Having gained a BSc in International Hospitality Management, Mark worked his way to a high management level within Whitbread Group Plc, managing a high volume site, netting up to £75,000 per week. With a passion and flair for hotel and restaurant management, Mark has successfully transferred his skills to the specialist hospitality recruiting agency Appetite4Recruitement and is enjoying ongoing success within this role.
Ashley Gordon Recruitment Consultant & Account Manager
Ashley has recruited for the hospitality and leisure sector for the last 5 years. Originally from an operational background running gastro pubs and restaurants, Ashley has successfully worked with some of the top names in the industry from branded restaurants and gastro pubs to the contract catering sector. Ashley has built and maintained excellent client and candidate relationships alike as well as had first hand experience on the ‘shop floor’ Ashley not only has the knowledge and understanding but also a true passion for the hospitality industry. With this in mind it goes without saying that Ashley enjoys nothing better than a sharing Sunday lunch with good food, fine wine and surrounded by family and friends!
Marc Voigt, Recruitment Consultant- Chef Division
Marc has over 13 years experience in the restaurant, gastro pub and hotel market having begun his career in South Africa where he trained in some of Johannesburg's exclusive restaurant venues. In 2002 Marc relocated to the UK where he focused his career on the Gastro Pub sector.
Since transferring his skills to the recruitment industry 2 years ago, Marc has been able to use his experience and high standards to create a successful reputation for himself in specialist chef recruitment. In his spare time Marc enjoys spending time with his young son as well as driving his wife mad by following every sporting event-especially the Springboks!
Marc specialises in all level chef recruitment within the restaurant, hotel and gastro pub sector across the South of the UK.
Charley O’Toole – Recruitment Consultant
Charley has worked in the hospitality industry for 7 years and loves every minute of it! A well motivated, passionate and out going person who thrives on challenges. Having previously worked for a very successful gastro pub group where she was allowed to channel her passion into different areas.
Charley worked in marketing as an Assistant Brand Manager, where she was able to gain knowledge and experience of promoting a group. After 2 years of working in the training and internal recruitment sector, Charley decide to take a break and go travelling across the world. Now back, she has re-joined the recruitment world and we look forward to her bringing her experience to Appetite4Recruitment.
