Appetite4Recruitment Ltd was founded late in 2003 by Managing Director, Nick Clover with a vision to increase standards within the hospitality side of the recruitment industry in order to encourage new talent and nurture existing skills.
Having worked his way up through the ranks to Restaurant Management and Chef in both a fast paced Restaurant Chain and a well recognised Hotel Company over a 15 year period; BSc hons. graduate, Nick has consistently developed his skill sets, successfully achieving MREC CertRP status having studied through the REC. As expected, Nick constantly strives to bring the highest standards to the Recruitment Industry with a little help from his team! Nick is a joint owner of a popular, standard driven pub restaurant in the Surrey Area ( http://www.the-cricketers-at-farncombe.co.uk/ ) and while making decisions on the direction of the successful establishment, Nick massively enjoys keeping his hand in the industry by running shifts and being heavily involved in staff training.
Sister company Appetite4Hotels Ltd - www.appetite4hotels.co.uk - is run by Alex Hunt (Director); such is the level of his passion for the industry Alex holds shares in a privately owned restaurant in Surrey( http://thegreekvine.co.uk/ ). Appetite4Hotels, which recruits for managers and chefs throughout the industry, ensures the same high standards focusing on strong core values. Both teams work together to enable the transfer of skills between industries.
Meet the Team:
Amy Bracegirle - Senior Recruitment Consultant
A Sheffield University graduate who comes from areas of hospitality in roles including Air Hostess and Restaurant Manager. During her travels Amy has enjoyed putting her ‘cheffing’ skills to good use as well as taking her skills into the hotel environment. Before bring her skills to the recruitment side of the industry, Amy enjoyed working at a well known Award Winning Restaurant as Restaurant Manager, which combined a quality delicatessen and farm shop. Her varied skills and industry knowledge make her a finely rounded recruitment consultant.
Cathy Philpot - Recruitment Consultant
Having enjoyed working as Restaurant Manager in an extremely prestigious Boutique Hotel in the heart of East Anglia; Cathy has an outstanding flair for personable, high level service in a demanding environment.Bring her obvious passion for great Restaurant Management to the recruitment side of the industry, it’s true to say that Cathy has a keen eye for talent and a strong understanding of the Restaurant Industry while enjoying the Surrey lifestyle which is where her talents have brought her!
Sarah Roberts - Recruitment Consultant
Having been in both the catering and sales industry for over 3 years, Sarah has now combined her skills and recently joined catering recruitment. As the newest member of the team, she is eager to learn all aspects of the industry and individual client businesses. With her past experience in Crown Golf; assisting the organisation and running of functions, bar and Sunday lunches, Costa; as supervisor and key holder and 7 months in a car sales environment at Listers Audi she is extremely client focused and dedicated to providing an excellent standard of customer service at all times. With her friendly and determined attitude she’s easy to approach and is keen to succeed and build her career as a successful Recruitment Consultant for Appetite.
Jo Sansom - Recruitment Consultant
Coming from a Branded Restaurant background, Jo has Managerial experience and has worked for companies including ASK, Café Rouge and Tootsies. Starting at Café Rouge in Guildford, while an art student, Jo discovered his love for great restaurant service an hasn’t stopped since. Joining the Appetite team at the beginning of January 2007, Jo now divides his time between consultancy work and working on new business accounts. Jo’s obvious personable skills and ambition to work with the best companies and to find the best managers in the industry make him a key member of the team, benefiting candidates and clients alike.An amateur dramatics enthusiastic; Jo is certainly a thespian at heart!
Charlotte Weston - Company Administrator
A key member and support to the team. Charlotte is developing her skills in the industry as both a resourcer and company administrator; one day aspiring to continue her career by becoming an established Recruitment Consultant.Enjoying the finer things in life, Charlotte’s skills are an obvious benefit.
